Edit videos in 4k using a slow computer

Nowadays there are many video formats we leave behind the HD era. We are in the middle of the FHD era. But with the revolution of things it is more and more common for us to record videos in 4k, also known as UHD.

Of course when this happens we have to think not only about how we are going to record this but also how we are going to watch it, going through the whole process of editing, archiving and transmitting. After all, with a file that is “double” in quality, you have to give twice as much disk space.

And to help most computers are not well prepared for this transition so just edit 4K videos using a slow computer and hard work to do. And to help resolve this situation the video at the top of the page gives you a valuable tip that can be used in Adobe Premiere to make your computer’s life easier and your patience.

This tip is not only valid for Premiere but also for Davinci Resolve, of course the menus will be completely different from one program to another. To see what I’m talking about, take a look at the video at the top of the page.
