Be the King of Shortcuts in Lightroom

Shortcuts have always been a way to speed up work on any platform, and Lightroom is no different. Using specific shortcuts you will edit your photos much better and faster. And we have shortcuts to just about everything, and since there are more than one tab in Lightroom, shortcuts can change from tab to tab.

One of the most important shortcuts is on the library screen and is to import your photos. The shortcut is ctrl + shift + i, and it will help you not to be lost when importing your photos. There are shortcuts for rotating images, shortcuts for adding exposure in large or small increments, and the list just grows.

If you get lost there is also a super cool menu where you can access all the shortcuts available in the program, just use the shortcut ctrl + / in the tab you are using and the shortcuts for that tab v; when it appears on your screen.

During the video at the top of the page, the shortcuts will appear on the screen while they are being used so you can follow much more easily.

And for the lazy ones below, there’s a list of shortcuts you’ll almost always need on Lightroom .
