Handling Noise in Lightroom – How to work with high ISO images

Working with high ISO photos can be a stumbling block for many people and often make it impossible to use the photo. The good news is that Lightroom has a very easy way to deal with photo noise.

Noisy photos happen when we are photographing a scene in low light, such as night shots. It is different from the noise or grain that exists in analog film in photography and in this case our only alternative is to buy a film less sensitive to light.

In digital photography you can use noise to emulate a photo taken with film, but we don’t always need to treat noise as the photo’s natural effect. So if you have a photo in which noise is bothering you click on the video at the top of the page and see how to remove noise from the photos using Lightroom.
